A Note From The NRBC Planning Committee
November 6, 2020
Welcome to the 2020 Virtual NRBC!
Registered attendees will receive an e-mail from “Welcome to Northeast Region Burn Conference”, providing you with a link to connect to the virtual site.
Please log onto the site prior to the day of the meeting to set up your profile and upload a profile picture.
It is also recommend that you log onto the site from the location where you will be attending the meeting, especially if you are a presenter/moderator. Bandwidth can vary due to location & the number of people on the internet. For example, if you plan to attend from home, there may be others in the area that are working from home, or attending school virtually, which may overload the internet connections.
On behalf of the Planning Committee, thank you for your patience and support as we navigate these trying times. We look forward to seeing everyone virtually on Friday, November 6th, 2020, and, in person at Burlington Vermont in 2021!
Welcome to The NRBC
November 6, 2020
After much discussion and thoughtful consideration, it has been determined the NRBC Meeting will be held Virtually, Friday, November 6, 2020. Although places are starting to open up and some travel is possible, there are no guarantees that NRBC will be able to fulfill contractual obligations without incurring financial penalties come November.
The virtual meeting will still feature Abstract presentations, both podium and poster, a Presidential Keynote Address, a Pro/Con debate and a special webinar session on the Impact Covid-19 has/hasn’t had on northeast burn centers. There will be opportunities to “meet” with our vendors and to socialize at a virtual reception.
Due to social distancing limitations, there will be no pre- or post-conference. For those interested in completing Advanced Burn Life Support Provider, please consider ABLS Now©.
Our target audience remains the same, with offerings for physicians, nursing, occupational and physical therapy, nutrition, respiratory, mental health providers, first responders, students or any other member of the burn team. Attendees are eligible to receive 5.5 CEUs at a reduced fee of $25.00 for non-physicians and $50.00 for physicians.
