Abstract Submission​

Scientific Program Abstract Submission Form

Abstract submissions are not currently being accepted for the 2021 NRBC Meeting.  Accepted abstracts will be presented in oral or poster format.  Abstracts will be graded by members of the NRBC Program Committee.  Submissions with the highest scores qualify for podium presentation.   Authors will be notified electronically.

Submission Requirements are listed below.  Failure to comply may result in disqualification:

  1. Deadline: 12:00 am EDT, August 28, 2021

  2. Abstracts should be submitted electronically to the Northeast Region Burn Conference website - https://www.northeastregionburnconference.org/

  3. Once accepted, submission of an abstract constitutes a commitment by the author(s) to register and present.

  4. Expenses associated with submission or presentation of an abstract are the responsibility of the presenter.

  5. Abstract format to include:

A. Introduction, Methods, Results, Conclusions, Applicability to Research or Practice and completed Author Disclosures for all listed authors

B. Combined length of the abstract body, title and table may not exceed 2,500 characters. Characters include letters, numbers and punctuation. Tables/graphics count as 250 characters

C. Abstracts may not reference a Burn Center, Hospital, University or Country by name or it will be excluded from scoring

D. Abstracts may not reference product or device trade names. (ie: use “nanocrystalline silver dressing”,  not “ActicoatÒ”)  If a trade name must be used, include trade names from multiple companies rather than a single company’s trade name

E. All authors must have a completed disclosure on file at the ABA at www.ameriburn.org  prior to abstract submission. Abstracts with missing or incomplete disclosure forms will not be considered.
